    I noticed that an unwanted extension named "yspellphoto" is on chrome without my knowledge. It just opens a new tab with Bing when I search google. The extension is loaded from my pc and here's a screenshot of its hidden files. Whenever I delete these files or remove the extension from Chrome, it reappears when I open Chrome once again. I performed a scan with Malwarebytes and it detected 46 infected files all in have something to with Google Chrome. After making quarantine with Malwarebytes, the extension was removed but it returned back when I reopened Google Chrome. I think this malware has

    I was hoping someone could give me a list of step by step instructions you use as a guide to clean virus, malware...etc. so I can keep my PC clean if it gets infected.

    I'm going to be straight with you RTB I think your browser is infected and you should look in your programs list and in firefox for default search engine/extension tampering.

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.


    • Settings > System > Apps & Features > Uninstall the problem Edge Extension(s)

    • Go to Store > manually search the store for the extension, then install it again.
    After it's installed, click the 'Launch' button and it will take you to Edge where you can set it up.
