Windows 10: infected with trojan js/nemucod.SMQ!MTB

HiI recieved email with a click link that went to an unopened adobe that I then needed to login to openI didnt do this step.I called sender and was told it was a scam/virus. I scanned with Microsoft defender and it found and quarantined trojan: js/nemucod.SMQ!MTB. I then removed file from the protection history.So is that it? Is the threat gone or do I need to do something else to protect my pc ?Thank you for your advice.

I have been infected with Trojan: JS/BlacoleRef.CC

I got a message from Windows Defender (WD) about been infected by this trojan, JS/BlacoleRef.CC, and I said yes to its deletion asking. Afterwards, as recommended, I ran a full scan of WD and it did not appear back but now all options in WD settings
are not accessible. I was trying to see excluded files. What to do?

Viral Trojan infection in Microsoft Edge files.

It would seem that I have contracted a Virus that just will not go away and regardless of how many time I Try to remove it it comes right back on restart. I am experiencing. Warnings about the same threat over and over and even though my Windows defender
software says that it has removed the infection it comes back. It would seem that my security software (That's a laugh) can't fully clean it from my system even though it say's that it has. Also it seems to be taking a very long time to do a complete scan.

The Trojan file is Rouge js/techbrolo a and e and is located in my browsers Ws Edge and Google Chrome. I have uninstalled Chrome and would like to Uninstall edge and down load a completely fresh copy. I have tried all steps suggested by Microsoft with no
luck. Maybe a fresh download of windows is the solution????.
