Windows 10: Infineon TPM incompatible with Win10 update 1709, found by MS !!!, but to be removed...

Dear Gents

Since a couple of months Microsoft W10 is refusing to install updates

referring to the presence of "Infineon TPM" program/app incompatible

with the update to be installed !?!

Furthermore,in stead of suggesting to remove it, the Micosoft guys

indicate I have to remove the Infineon TPM "manually".



Going into the Programs/Apps ... the Infineon TPM is NOT even listed !?!

Hours I have been searching on C:\ to locate the said program/app!

Not found ... anywhere. I searched the Internet, but none of the

suggested simple looking solutions work out

I cannot remember that I ever installed it, of course.

I made every effort to locate the Infineon, checked on the basic

motherboard settings, starting with F12. Nothing shows up.



I wonder if "Bitlocker" origin MicroSoft is related to the problem?

A search on "TPM" only, does deliver a lot appearances but do I have to /can I just, delete them all?



I'm working with a Toshiba Satellite Pro C855-1W8 upgraded to W10 meanwhile. Ser# XC411278R Part# PSCBYE-01500NDU

How can I locate the Infineon TPM package to be able to remove it?



I'm in informatics since 1965, experiencing the full evolution, saying

I'm familiar with most of general terminology, but I'm NOT a MS-Windows

Infineon TPM removal

How do I remove the Infineon TPM. I cannot locate the program. I've checked in MS Config and in program menu. It is keeping my ASUS Windows 10 from updating.

 

Infineon TPM Professional Package

Whenever I attempt to a Windows 10 upgrade, it fails and I am instructed to remove the "Infineon TPM Professional Package" app (this is always listed twice in the dialog box). I cannot locate any Infineon app (have searched "Infineon" and "Infineon TPM").
How can I resolve this?
