    Infinite Boot Glitch

I have owned my computer for a relatively short amount of time (3-4 years) and recently decided to get Windows 10. I started to get many bugs including my hot bar not working. Instead of trying to solver that problem, I decided to just reset my computer since it was getting slow anyways.

i had received an error saying about how it couldn't be completed and it had failed, and I clicked cancel like any normal person would after a failed attempt. Everything then went down hill, as the infinite looping glitch started whenever I would attempt to start up my computer. It would show the logo but it wouldn't show the small little loading Sprite. It would then proceed to restart and do the whole process over again. I am not very technological, so excuse me if my terms are not very accurate, but I am pretty "nooby" with computers and would appreciate any help.

    Thanks!
    -Brian

EDIT: My mistakes if I am in the wrong section and if this has already been answered, I am relatively new here

    :)

If kb4041676 is what you installed, its a buggy update, I recommend you try uninstalling it to see if it restores stability:

    Press Windows key + R

    Type: appwiz.cpl

    Hit Enter

    Click View installed updates

    Select the recent update

(This is the update you want to uninstall kb4041676)

Right click it then click uninstall.

Try uninstalling the update to see if it restores functionality.

If you are not able to boot into safe mode, but you can reach the recovery environment, launch the command prompt, then type:

    wusa /uninstall /kb:kb4041676 /quiet

You can also try uninstall your mouse then restart.

    Press Windows key + X

    Click Device Manager

Expand Mice and other pointing devices.

Right click on the Mouse and click uninstall

    Press Alt + F4

Press the Windows key + X

    Press the letter U

    Press the letter R

    Restart

If that does not work, upgrading to the latest feature update called the Fall Creators Update might be able to fix it:

    Infinite Boot Glitch

Well if the Data isn't erased yet from your Storage, you can still make a back up of them then either try start up repair by using a windows 10 CD or clean install your computer with the very same Win 10 CD...

The way to back up your files if you no longer can access windows, but the harddrives didn't get formatted yet:
-> Download Hirens Boot CD and burn it on a 700Mb CD or make a bootable USB stick with hirens on it. Hirens website have instruction for it.
-> Plug a external storage device for backing up your files.
Start your computer up and proceed to boot menu (mostly through F11 when you see your BIOS logo) and select your Optical Drive or USB.
-> Select Mini Windows XP when you boot on Hirens.
-> Wait for it to load all drivers, then open File Explorer and go to My Computer, locate your files in the other drives and copy them to the external drive.

-> After you made sure you have all files copied, shut down the computer.
-> Put your Copy of Windows 10 CD and start on it. Click next after you see the Language + region keyboard setting. Afterward click Repair option at the center bottom.
-> Select Startup repair and hope it fixes it. If not, high chance you might have to re-install your windows.

Are you trying to reset Windows 10 or your previous OS? Can you boot into Safe Mode even?

I can boot into BIOS and I am not very sure about which OS I want to boot up, but I'm probably going to go back to 8.1

    Infinite Boot Glitch

The infinite rebooting is caused from a failed setup. I've had that happen before. If you don't want to lose files, and not very good with technology, you could buy a new hard disk and install a clean version of Windows 10 and there should be no problems.

Whatever you decide to do, good luck
