Windows 10: Infinite Problems all connecting. PC not detecting USB Drives/Can't use mouse or keyboard...

Hi all, Someone please help me I'm losing my mind. I'm using Windows 10.This all started when my usb drives randomly stopped working. The ports themselves work just fine, mouse/keyboard/controllers are useable but specifically USB drives are not being detected. Bought a new USB drive and !SURPRISE! it can't be detected. Tried uninstalling the USB drivers, still nothing. Removed power to the motherboard and still nothing. I saw someone disable Legacy USB support in BIOS and it worked so I did that. Not only did it not work but now I can't move mouse or keyboard in BIOS or even boot it up on sta

Hello guy’s and gals, I was able to fix my mouse and keyboard issue, seems that they were not making a full connection, don’t know why that happened, when I first booted up , seems I had to really force the connections for keyboard and mouse USB Iinto the MB USB port,all is working now , thanks for everyone suggestions thanks

 

Microsoft 5050 Wireless Keyboard & Mouse Not Detected

Hi,
I have a new Microsoft Mouse & Keyboard 2000 now.
Tried what you suggested with an old keyboard, connected the new one and it's a bit better.
I stll get an error saying the 'MKCHelper.exe' file is missing.
I still can't uninstall/reinstall Microsoft Mouse & Keyboard Centre, as it says it is on the PC, but is not listed in the list of software to uninstall.
When I slow the wheel scroll speed down, it works fine, but when I restart the PC I have to do it again, as it speeds up so much I can't control it.

 

Connecting USB flash drive causes wireless keyboard and mouse to freeze

2 week old HP All-In-One worked fine until today - connecting a USB flash drive or portable hard drive causes the HP wireless mouse and keyboard to stop working - unplug the flash drive and the mouse/keyboard works again... any ideas or suggestions ?
