Windows 10: Initial lagging on File Explorer on Windows 11

Ever since I upgraded to Windows 11, the file explorer opens really slow. I fixed the right menu by setting initially opening the file explorer to This PC instead of Quick Access. But the left menu is still laggy. Takes a good couple of seconds to load everything including quick access menu, etc, especially when I'm downloading something or saving something. I have cleared all caches, restarted, and updates to the latest versions. This never happened on Windows 10. Is this a small bug in 11?

Windows 11 / OneDrive File Explorer Lag

What on earth has Microsoft done with Windows 11 / OneDrive? It is borderline unusable with the amount of lag in basic explorer operations, right clicking, navigating etc. Initially I did an upgrade, so I did a clean install and the problems still persist. According to Google, I'm not the only one.

All SSD volumes

Latest Windows 11 build

Latest OneDrive for Business build

1. Lag doesn't exist with 3rd party apps like "Files" from the Windows store.

2. Using windows file explorer to navigate folder structures outside of OneDrive is useable (still slower than Win10 though)

3. Using windows file explorer to navigate OneDrive structures is PAINFUL. Your risk of accidentally deleting something or sending the wrong keystroke is high.

4. The lag noted above subsides if you run file explorer full screen (not practical as a solution, I run ultra wides).

This isn't a me issue (config/specs), this is a code issue either with OneDrive, or Windows in relation to the Explorer navigation bar (since the lag subsides when full screen).

I tried also. First everything went fast again. After synchronizing the shares of the different teams (about 17) explorer was lag again...

wow finally Win 11 now fix the File explorer lag by update build Build 22000.469. Now my laptop is smooth as win 10. Thanks a lot
