Windows 10: Input device is not being detected...

I have just gotten my new pc and just got everything ready when I realized that when I plug in my headphones and select headphones from waves, it's not also using the mic on it, and I went to troubleshoot on the virtual agent, and it installed a driver which now when I plug in my headphones, the waves does not pop up and it's still only sound, I am thinking about using a system restore point to try to get that waves pop-up back, and all I would need to do is reinstall everything and sign-in to everything again. I just wanna see if there are any other options, also the system I'm using is XPS 8940 with I7-10700, 16 GB ram, and 1660ti.

Playback detecting Input Devices & Recording detecting Output Devices

Hello!

Today, I was playing SCP: Secret Laboratory. After I finished, I went and made tea. When I came back much later to play some more, I found that the in-game voice chat was not working for me; my microphone was not transmitting in-game.
Looking into my Steam settings, I found that all my input devices were actually my output devices, and all my output devices were actually input devices. I initially thought this was an issue with Steam, so I restarted Steam and my PC.
However, when the problem did not resolve, I looked to my sound settings and found that even in there, my playback devices detected inputs as outputs and recording devices detected outputs as inputs.

How am I able to fix this problem?

The VoiceMeeter inputs and outputs are from a sound managing device called VoiceMeeter Banana that I installed to allow for the creation of virtual line ins.

I have a very strange bug happening here. At first i thought my microphone didn't work anymore, because the green vu-meter didn't react, and no software detected any input from it either.

So i tried a lot of fixes suggested on the internet, but discovered it was something stranger…

Even if i plugged my microphone in another sound card, or created a virtual input device, the sound was detected by the vu-meter only… When i activated «listen to this device». And even when i do this, no software accept the input, detecting absolutely no
sound whatsoever.

I am still hesitating to reinstall windows entirely, but i wondered if there was a simpler solution before.

(Excuse me if some sentences are approximate, english is not my native language)

 

Mouse detected as USB Input Device

My wired optical mouse is detected first as unknown device and later gets detected as USB Input Device; I have a TOSHIBA Sattelite S40Dt-A with an upgraded Windows from 8 to 10. Any help?
