Windows 10: Insanely Slow Download Speeds, Probably Due To Software-Related Issue

Hi all, I believe that there is something wrong with my Windows 10 laptop that is causing incredibly slow download speeds. I have 200 Mbps internet via Xfinity, and am getting download speeds in the 100-400 Kbps realm. There is nothing wrong with my modem. This also happens when I am plugged in via ethernet, so I am thinking this is a software problem rather than a hardware one. Slow speeds happen regardless of what internet browser I am using. My laptop is pretty powerful, so this is a huge bummer and I hope to fix it soon.Thanks for your help!!

• I would suggest you to test the speed using any of the speed test website or app to confirm the upload and download speed.
• I also suggest you to reset the wireless router to check if that helps.
  
• You may plug in the Ethernet cable if available and check the speed.

Download speed is slow when downloading apps from the Store

• Do you also experience slow connection when browsing the Internet using Edge?
• What is the make and model of your phone?
• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
