I installed Linux on my computer, but some of my video games wont work on it so I am trying to get back to windows. I used another computer to put the installation media on a usb stick, booted it from it, and it said "Disk 0 no media". Then I took the internal ssd out, plugged it into another computer using an adapter, cleaned it, created the primary partition, then formatted it using diskpart, then put it back into my computer, and the same thin happened Secure boot is off, and all of the BIOS settings are set to what it says on the windows website. If you having an issue installing a driver that worked before you formatted or wont install on a fresh build, sometimes this means hardware damage

Step 1
reinstall windows from scratch
Step 2
install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
Step 3
update windows
Step 4
install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
Step 5
Install GPU drivers
Step 6
go back to using your pc without issue.

 

Windows 11 installation from USB to bigger NVME SSD drive

Hello - I recently got a Crucial T500 NVME SSD and I'm trying to install Windows 11. I have Windows 11 installed on my current SSD (this is purely a space upgrade), so I know I don't have any hardware incompatibility, and the installed drive is visible on the install screen. But, after copying all the files, installing, and restarting, it does not boot to Windows 11 but back to the bootable USB. The BIOS do not even recognize the SSD as a bootable drive, and the installation media doesn't see any drive that needs repairing, so it's like nothing is happening. But, when I reinstall my original hard drive, I can access the new drive and I can see the Windows file structure added to the new drive (users, windows folder, program files, etc.) Any suggestions?
