Windows 10: Install error - 0x80070002 2023-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for...

Hi, for quite a long time I have a problem with installing cumulative updates. I tried using Microsoft tools for this but they either don't help at all or only once the next similar update gives the same error. Please help to solve this problem once and for all. I would really hate to reinstall the OS or perform a full reset, because I have a software that I will have to buy again in this case.CBS.zip

Why would an in-place Upgrade solve this problem? I did all the steps listed here but not the in-place update. The error I see in the Windows update window is "Download error - 0x8024401c" for 2023-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5023706). Its been logging this error since 3/17/2023

Note that on 2/15 everything seemed fine:

2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022845)

Successfully Installed on 2/15/2023

2023-02 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5022497)

Successfully Installed on 2/15/2023

 

Cumulative Update KB5026372 For Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64- based systems - install error code 0x80070002

I'm trying to download and install this 2023-05 Cumulative Update KB5026372 For Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64- based systems (KB5026372)

and it keeps failing

gets to about 75% install then fails

install error code 0x80070002

can anyone suggest anything ??
