Windows 10: Install Error 0x80070103 with New Drivers on Lenovo ThinkPad

Dear Microsoft Support Team,I am experiencing the Windows Update Install Error 0x80070103 on my Lenovo ThinkPad when attempting to install new drivers. Computer won’t install intel drivers 0x80070103

New windows 11 computer. Setting it up. It will not install some Intel drivers and gives the error 0x80070103 . Any suggestion?

 

How to fix: Intel Corporation - Extension - 30.0.101.1960 Install error - 0x80070103

I've been having the same issue with the following drivers since this morning.

• Realtek Semiconductor Corp. - Extension - 6.1.0.9
  
  • Install error - 0x80070103
    
• Intel - Extension - 1952.14.0.1470
  
  • Install error - 0x80070103
    
• Intel Corporation - Extension - 27.20.100.8681
  
  • Install error - 0x80070103
    

Hopefully, Microsoft will resolve this issue soon. I don't know why this happened all of a sudden.

 

Lenovo Recalls 208,000 ThinkPad Batteries

On March 1, 2007, Lenovo voluntarily recalled certain 208,000 9-cell lithium-ion batteries. These batteries were manufactured for use with ThinkPad notebook computers that shipped worldwide between November 2005 and February 2007. All ThinkPad R60, R60e Series, ThinkPad T60, T60p Series and ThinkPad Z60m, Z61e, Z61m, and Z61p Series with 9-cell 10.8V, 5.2 Ah batteries with part number FRU P/N 92P1131 are being recalled. All affected batteries will be replaced free of charge. Lenovo suggests those computers with defective units remove the battery and use the AC adaptor until a replacement has arrived.
