Windows 10: Install error - 0x80070643; Five months old and no solution from Micrsosoft!

I wish I never got this update notification.I found a post from January 2024 on this problem.Install error - 0x80070643Closed and not a good solution for ordinary users.The solutions there are risky and can easily lead to a system disk being destroyed.Specifically, the instructions from Microsoft at: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/kb5028997-instructions-to-manually-resize-your-partition-to-install-the-winre-update-400faa27-9343-461c-ada9-24c8229763bfare inexact and vague enough to destroy a system disk.Anyone found a simple, robust and solid solution to this that isn't a youtube hac

- perhaps Trident z lighting control - unless you have an upgraded version *Wink

A guess might suggest something related to .NET framework. Try repairing it using the repair tool mentioned here:

Note the revert button top right.

- do you mean restoring failed to complete, or that it completed successfully, and you still had the problem?

If the latter, the problem may be unrelated to this debloater script.

Hey

Try to apply the update manually As suggested by Microsoft. I just wrote a
step by step guide.

However be sure that the update itself is downloaded and that the installation part is failing, and not the downloading part.
