Windows 10: Install Error - 0x800f020b HP - Printer - 20.80.3.9568

Windows update displays the following error: Install Error - 0x800f020b HP - Printer - 20.80.3.9568.I do not have an HP printer and have never installed one. How do i remove the error from windows update.

Windows Update 0x800f020b Error


When I run Windows Update on Windows 10 (ver 1511), I get the following error:

Hewlett-Packard - Imaging - Null Print - HP Deskjet 3520 series - Error 0x800f020b

I looked up the 0x800f020b error code and it says this occurs when an attempt is made to update drivers for a device that isn't connected. In my particular case, this device is connected via the wireless network and appears in my list of available Printers.

How do I get rid of this error?

Update keeps failing listing an "Install error - 0x800f020b Canon - Printer - 2.90.2.30"
I do not have this printer and it is not listed under my Devices and I have not been able to "find it" in my computer to "remove it" - the rest of my Windows updates are current as 4:03pm, 12/5/23.

Can I get an assist to find and remove printer or get rid of the update error code?

 

HP Printer Update Fails with Error 0x800f020b. There are no updates to hide when using the tool.

I have the same problem. HP Printer 31.1.2001.9295 Install error 0x800f020b I hope Microsoft or HP. Will fix this problem or get rid of the driver. It is becoming a nuisance to see it every time I do updates.
