Windows 10: Install error - 0x800f0900 in win11

tried to install these two updates:2024-01 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 23H2 for x64 KB50339202024-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems KB5034123it appears Install error - 0x800f0900Tried troubleshoot on windowsTried in cmd these commands :net stop bitsnet stop wuauservnet stop cryptsvcren %systemroot%\softwaredistribution softwaredistribution.bakren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 catroot2.baknet start bitsnet start wuauservnet start cryptsvcdidnt helpdism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealthdism.exe /onlin

Install errors - 0x800f0900

Cindy, I have tried the troubleshooting steps listed by David M. here as this person had a similar issue to me. Windows 11 Update (KB5012592) fails With Error Code 0x800f0900 - Microsoft Community I have tried all of them, I did find corrupted files and I ran windows update troubleshooter. All with no luck.

 

0x800f0900 Error Code when updating win11

I installed win11 22H2 and restarted my destop. Then, the system bios started to automatically reversing all the changes that have been made to windows and successfully restarted. I was informed by the system that 22H2 was not installed sucessfully. Then, the 22H2 update in windows update was replaced by a 09 cumulative update for windows 11 2022 (KB5017383). I installed this and the error code is shown 0x800f0900
