Windows 10: install failed. Please contact your software vendor while opening settings

Hi,I have been facing a problem that, I cannot Open the start menu or searchHence I cannot go to the settings.When I try to run it from task manager I get this error - install failed. Please contact your software vendor while opening settings My office applications were also not working, but fixed it by repairing it.When I checked the event viewer I found some warnings and errors.this is one warning - And I get this error - Please help, because of this I can't access any apps pinned to the start menu or even open the settings to update the PC PS - I do not want to reinstall Windows as I do not

After last W10 update, Build 187, I have in Event Viewer several errors related to AppReadiness.

Hi, my laptop was automatically updated to windows 10 Pro and i have encountered several issues so far. I cant even use my laptop as usual.

1) failing to open a pdf file. the message ' install failed. please contact your software vendor' appeared.

I have already had adobe installed. If i open the program adobe first and then choose the pdf file i wish to open, it works.

Hence i tried control panel->programe->default programe ....but when i tried clicking 'associate a file type or protocol with a program', there was no response at all !!

2) My start button at the left bottom taskbar in not responding at all

3) when i go into file explorer, the search bar is not functioning at all

I recently updated my laptop to the windows 10 software. So far I didn't encounter any problems but this one:

I save an image from google chrome to my file explorer with a name, afterwards when I need to use that image and I try to open it, it saysinstall failed please contact your software vendor please help me with this as I have saved
some very important images and I need to use them.....
