    Install Hangs


    I'm attempting to install Windows 10 from Windows Update. Once the I download the file and setup begins, the installation hangs on Checking your PC. I shut down my antivirus and I still can't get past this screen. Is there another service that is interfering with the installation? Can someone recommend how to get past this issue?

    Installation hangs

    I also have spent most of yesterday and today trying to install PCS. Thank you for this post. Although Roxio was not the culprit for me. Tivo was the problem. Once the installation got "hung" I opened the task manager and stopped the Tivo processes and
    voila! the install "un-hung" and completed.

    I hope this helps some others!
