Windows 10: Install,Location,Uninstall,Move,Modify

Discus and support Install,Location,Uninstall,Move,Modify in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; To me, and I suspect to others with limited free storage this is a game-changing advance, yet I have seen little information or discussion about it....     To me, and I suspect to others with limited free storage this is a game-changing advance, yet I have seen little information or discussion about it. Why? At last in updated Windows 10 you can now not only choose where to install apps (ie. which drive), you can move most apps from one drive to another, and in some cases modify the installation (I have not yet learned what that means --- can someone advise?).

    For me these features alone would have made the considerable cost (I paid a technician) and time-consuming, frustrating hassle of the upgrade and (muddled) November update. Now I can start the long process of transferring many apps from my 2-in-1 Tablet's small over-stretched SSD, to any number of GB rich Memory Cards and USB Drives. *Biggrin

    Right! I had pre-ordered and paid for the game last year.... just didn't know it would take the liberty of auto-installation to C: with no input from me Install,Location,Uninstall,Move,Modify :)

    And that option to Move seems to be attached with Microsoft Store downloads... other games and programs I have installed normally (my choice to actually install or not/specify location/etc.) just have
    Modify/Uninstall buttons.

    How to move installed apps from one drive to another drive in Windows 10?

    Hi,

    Apps and Features is now a separate section in settings. There isn't a move button, that is now "Modify" click on that and there is no option to move . It seems as though you have to uninstall and then re - install in the desired drive ?
