Windows 10: Install Windows message box...endless loop!

I just encountered a very perplexing problem with Windows 10. I have an HP laptop that is about 1 3/4 years-old now and worked perfectly. I did a full factory reset on it to sell it. After the reset, powering it back on, it went through the set-up process for the new owner but during the Windows installation phase, there was a power outtage. When the power was restored, and the laptop powered up again, this is what is seen on the screen, and if you click on OK or X it out it does the same thing...restarts and then shows that same message box again, with preparing and the circles spinnin' indicator. Stuck in a dreaded "loop" or endless cycle of that. I have just basic technical knowledge. Can anyone please help me on this?

• Have you checked if the hard disk is set as first boot device in the BIOS?
• Which version of Windows is installed on the computer?
• What did the HP supported suggested you to fix the issue?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Windows 10 update problem - endless loop

No this solution did not solve the problem. I inserted the installation media but it did not work, I was just thrown into the endless loop again. Any more suggestions?
