Windows 10: installation advice

when I install a program I have downloaded offline lets say like 7zip what is the best place to place it in the file directory is it program files the c drive or programfilesx86 and in the case of programs that don't have a installer just a .exe or .msi or .bat file ,that when extracted will have other files with it like for example logs or tools that if i place it in program files they end up just being thrown in there and not all together for the program to access it I just want to know wat I should do because I've found myself with a lot of jumbled files up not working programs and fi

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
