    I HAVE SPENT HOURS WITH MICROSOFT and also TURBO TAX. TURBO TAX GAVE ME THE LINK. However it took me a while to figure out that the one command had to be replaced with the If you are having a issue with installation go to this link: https://www.winhelponline.com/blog/error-2894-riched20-dll-getlasterror-5/ and follow the prompts. It's best to copy and paste the commands..     Hi Jeanene,

    To better understand the concern, kindly provide us the following information:

    • Are you getting any error messages when you insert the installation disc?
    • Are you getting any error messages when you attempt to install Turbo Tax?
    • When you insert the installation disc of Turbo Tax, can you see the installation file on File Explorer?
    In the meantime, kindly perform the troubleshooting steps provided by

    INSTALLATION ERROR CODE 2894 RELATED TO TURBO TAX INSTALLATION

    Installing Turbo Tax Deluxe 2016

    I'm using Windows 10 Pro and trying to install turbo tax. The installation process stops at 27% and in about 40 to 50 minutes times out with error message 65535.

    The computer is new and I have downloaded and installed several other programs since turbo tax failed. Any suggestions.
