    Installation Failure (on Build 18362.418)


    Have tried to install KB4522355 several times, with the the following error:

    Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x800F0988: Update for Windows (KB4522355).


    It goes to 100% installed, then fails. Have tried several methods that I know of, including a manual install all without success.

    Cannot print since latest Windows 10 update

    Hi Paul,

    KB4517389 apparently fixes the printer issue.

    • Addresses an issue with applications and printer drivers that utilize the Windows JavaScript engine (jscript.dll) for processing print jobs.

    You may check for updates and install the same.
