Windows 10: Installation of Adobe Blocked

I am trying to install Adobe Acrobat Pro to my Dell computer so that when I try and access a pdf it will take me to the app instead of Google. Every time I try to install the app, it says another installer is already running. I need to find a way to cancel that other installation to be able install the app. I have already tried contacting Adobe Support and they were unable to solve the issue.

Avira is blocking Adobe installation

it seems...i install adobe, all the steps...finish installation and it does not work. what should i do?can somebody help?

I suggest you to un-install and re-install the Adobe Reader and check if that helps:

Follow the steps to un-install the Adobe Reader.

• 
  Type control panel
  in the search box.
  
• 
  Click on programs and features or uninstall a program (depends on what view you are in)
  
• 
  Right click on Adobe Reader.
  
• 
  Click on uninstall.
  
• 
  Go through uninstall Wizard to Uninstall Abode Reader.

  Select any pdf file Extension.

  Click on Change program.

  Select Adobe Reader.
