Windows 10: Installation of KB5034122 fails with error 0x8007025d

Cumulative security update KB5034122 fails repeatedly on my Windows 10 Home 22H2 19045.3448. Before this the KB5034441 also failed, but I successfully followed the instructions to extend the WinRE partition by 250M and managed to get this installed in the end. I've also tried to download the msu package for KB5034122 and install manually from elevated command prompt: wusa "c:\updates\windows10.0-kb5034122-x64_de14dfac8817c1d0765b899125c63dc7b581958b.msu" /quiet /norestart /log:"C:\updates\KB5034122.evtx"Unfortunately the log output is in Norwegian due to my locale so pasting directly may not

failed during clean install Error Code 0x8007025D


I've spent the whole of today and yesterday trying to install windows 10 onto my SSD, it's not partitioned as i have read from various sites that the installation software will you all of that but everytime it get to the step after copying the files over i get the error 0x8007025D and nothing i've found online has worked.

Windows 10, version 22H2, x64 based system.

I've tried running the update trouble shooter, disc cleanup, running DISM scans, restarting in safe mode, deleting the installation file and manually downloading a new one through Microsoft. This is a stubborn problem that I am struggling to resolve!

 

KB5034122 was interrupted during installation and returned error code 0X800700b7. Every installation retry gets the same error code. Need help.

3 Windows 10 update models were downloaded to install - KB5034441, KB5024275, and KB5034122. The first two were completely successful, When KB5034122 was installing, an accidental restart was done and when everything came back up, the error code 0X800700b7 was showing for KB5034122. I've tried the following to remedy the situation (with no success):

. run sfc and dism. No errors were found.

. did a system restore. Install of KB5034122 failed with same error code

. renamed the \windows\softwaredistribution folder so a complete download and install would occur. Install of KB5034122 failed with same error.

. uninstalled KB5034275 and KB5034441 and did Check for Updates. KB5034275 and KB5034122 were downloaded (KB5034441 wasn't downloaded). KB5034275 successfully was installed, but KB5034122go t the same error, 0X800700b7

. tried manual download and install of KB5034122, but the install failed with same error code.

I have a Dell x-64 PC running Windows 10 version 10.0.19041.3570

I've run out of ideas. Can anyone help? Thanks

FYI: I have an HP Windows 10 x-64 PC and all 3 updates were successful.
