Windows 10: Installation of Office Home & Business 2010 on a Second Computer

Can I install a copy of my FPP licensed Office Home and Business 2010 DVD with Product Key on my wife’s new laptop while maintaining continued usage of Office 2010 on my laptop?

Mostly OEM computers come with MS office starter pack preinstalled, if you had MS office installed on the computer in the past I would suggest you to follow the steps under the section

WMDC and Office 2010 Home and Business - Outlook not installed.

After searching around I found out how to download a standard trial version of the Office Home and Business 2010. I removed the Click-to-Run and installed the standard Office version. Once that was done all my problems went away.

Stay away from Click-to-Run --- It's a piece of junk.

 

Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010``

I have Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010. Are there still updates for this program installed on my desk top when I got it? It tells me every day I have updates for this. I click it and it looks like it is loading and then asks me if I want to
install. I click yes it goes away. Did it install them for they ask again the next day I turn my computer on. What is going on? Are they updating it each day?
