Windows 10: Installed 21H2 Windows 10 over 1809 and now my devices don't work!

I'd been running 1809 for several years with my legacy hardware, all working just fine.Under increasing pressure with new applications that won't install on 1809, I foolishly upgraded my Windows 10 to 21H2 via in place install keep apps and files.Now my Nikon 4000ED slide Scanner and Edirol UM550 MIDI interface no longer work.The devices are showing "!" in the device manager and the Win+A sidebar has this message:I need my system working properly as this is a working studio with a work load. Right now, I'm dead in the water and unable to do my work unless I can restore my 1809 image which I

Creative X-Fi Soundcards and Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709 = Complete Disaster / Not Working

Thank you for trying to help , i did tried your suggestion but it did not work :/ , nothing seems to make it work on Windows 10 Fall Creators Update 1709. In the meantime i have bought a new SoundBlasterX AE-5 and it did installed flawlessly , no problems whatsoever. it is up to Creative ( drivers ) and Microsoft ( bug fix ) to fix this huge bugs with Audio.

Mouse and keyboard don't work on Windows install

This is a (now) fairly common problem with new builds using the Skylake CPU family and Z1750 MOBO's when trying to install Windows 7. Like many here, my devices work fine in the BIOS and even at the beginning of the install process. This ends after the initial 2 reboots. In other words, I can go so far as to choose my language etc., choose drive options, and choose to "Restart Now" in lieu of waiting 10 seconds after all the file copying, getting ready for install, install, install updates. After it allows that it's making registry changes, the devices cease to work. For me the pointer jumps to the top left of my screen and stays, no more input from mouse/KB registers.

I'm using a unified Logitech mouse/KB by the way, not that it matters. I've already jumped through several of the hoops suggested through searching, such as patching the installation ISO (didn't work), added USB 2.0 ports to my MOBO (didn't work), and now I'm here. My next attempt has me manually editing the “boot.wim” and “install.wim” files. I'll update this thread with my results if anyone is still following it and check back to see if maybe someone has solved it definitively yet.
