Windows 10: Installed app not visible in START

    Installed app not visible in START


    My windows 10 Pro desktop OS has done this several times with my VPN program, Hotspot Shield. Hotspot Shield is installed but not visible in START. Nor is there a desktop icon. So why does stupid windows 10 Pro allow this to happen? And how to I fix, as it will probably happen again and again, again, again?The result is that I cannot run Hotspot Shield.And deleting and reinstalling Hotspot Shield, has been done before, and does not always work. Just buries it again with no way to run the program.TDK

    Insurgency wont install and run for me....

    I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
    I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

    I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

    First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

    Any ideas?

    1. Is Cortana able to search the apps installed?

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if that helps.

    • Type Start Settings in Search and hit
      Enter.
    • Turn on Show recently added apps in jump list of Start of Taskbar.

    Hi,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community and thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

    As I understand you cannot find the weather app tile on the start screen, so I suggest you to follow the below steps how to bring the weather app on the start screen and check if it helps.

    • Press the “Windows+X” key.
    • Then click on “all apps”.
    • Then search for “weather app”.
    • Then right click on the weather app and then click on the option “pin to start”.
    • Then check on the start screen whether the weather app is visible.
