Windows 10: Installed epson xp-900 driver not available to be used in Windows 11

    I want to use the Epson printer driver for my XP-900 printer, as the Microsoft IPP Class driver does not seem to print double-sided with long-edge flipping even though I set it for this. However, I download and install the Epson driver, yet it does not seem to be available to be used having looked at the drivers in Device Manager. This is really frustrating as printing double-sided is always flipped on the short-side, no matters what I set in the printer settings. I have a Surface 13.8" laptop. Any advice?

    Epson Printer Driver - XP driver installed on 10 - device not showing as printer

    I inherited an Epson Stylus Pro9600(~2003) and would like to get it working for a local non-profit.

    • I downloaded the last driver available from the epson site. It was for Windows XP (64-bit)
    Epson Stylus Pro 9600 - UltraChrome Ink | Support | Epson US

    • Ran setup in "compatibility" mode for running the older driver and it said the driver was installed correctly.
    • Try to print and the new printer is not available to print from.
    • Checking in the control panel>hardware> "Devices and Printers" the Epson (showing as 'usb2.0 printer') is in the "unspecified Devices" section rather than the "printers" one.

    Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Epson photo 900 driver for windows 10

    Let's repeat: there are no drivers officially available from Epson for download. They are "in box", meaning that they are either part of the Windows installation or downloaded from Windows Update.

    You turn on the printer's power, and connect it to the PC. The drivers should automatically install. If not, go to options/devices/printers and add the 900.

    Please let us know whether it works.

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
