Windows 10: Installed Win 7 HP (Genuine) & No Windows 10 Icon...

I just installed Windows 7 HP (genuine and activated) on my PC so that I could get the free upgrade to Windows 10, but I don't see the upgrade icon on the taskbar. I've installed all the updates and even tried Cnet's file to put the icon back on the taskbar. Is there something I can do to get this back?? The 'Win10fix' file from Cnet says that I have all the updates needed to get the free upgrade to Windows 10 but no icon.

my laptop hp pro book its a win 8 pre installed one i upgraded it to win 10

one of my technician uninstall my genuine windows 10 and he install a pirated win7 without any backup

their is any chance to get back my genuine win 10 please help me

 

Installing Windows 10

Earlier I install Windows 10 by Media Creation Tool Over Windows 7 HOME Basic ( Genuine ). Now i want to perform clean windows 10 installation directly by formatting C Drive & without installing Win 7 Home Basic ?

It is Possible or not?

If it is possible which key i enter to activated the Windows 10 , Older key (of Windows 7 HB ) Works on Windows 10 or Not ?

 

Are you totally updated(no hidden updates) Do you have SP1? Go to this post and try some of the suggestions.

 

Thank you for responding Cliff S. I got it to work. I uninstalled the KB3035583 update, reboot and then checked for any updates. It showed I had one, the one I uninstalled and got it to reinstall and then it was in my taskbar. So if anyone else has this problem, try doing what I did.

 

You're welcome, this happen to me often, I ask someone for help with something(in real life too) and the problem solves itself seconds later*chuckle.
