  1. Installed Windows 10 on New Drive: Where's my old stuff?

My computer was running Windows 7 Pro, but I decided to upgrade to Windows 10, finally. Using the media creation tool to upgrade wasn't working, so I put the ISO on a flash drive and booted off of that. I decided to put Windows 10 on the SSD that did NOT house Windows 7. So now I'm up and running on Windows 10, but all my desktop stuff is gone and my programs don't show up when searched for. I have to manually go into program files on the Windows 7 drive to find the programs.

Is there any way to easily restore my desktop to the way it was and possibly index my other drives so stuff appears in the search bar? Is it safe to transfer a "User" profile over to the Windows 10 drive? Any and all advice is appreciated.

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?

Installed Windows 10 on New Drive: Where's my old stuff?

Replacing old hard drive, need way to copy Windows installation across

    Hey Guys,
What would be the best way of copying/imaging the entire contents of an old system drive over to a replacement hard disk for the same machine? I need to copy the Windows installations and all other data to the new drive, and then format the old drive to use as a backup.

Any suggestions? *Smile Installed Windows 10 on New Drive: Where's my old stuff? :)

Move Windows 10 installation to a new drive on a 10 year-old computer: I've read the instructions for creating media installation. I've also read a few of the posts about people going from HDD to SSD. Still, I don't feel confident and don't want to mess things up. Here's my situation.
