Getting "DisplayName" for installed MS store apps

    Hi,

I am trying to retrieve the "DisplayName" of installed Store apps from an UWP console based app (C++/WinRT).

Able to get other details by using PackageManager APIs.

Package Class DisplayName property returns empty string for all the store apps.

Noticed below comments from the remarks section:

If you call this property on an instance of a package that was created by any mechanism other than Package.Current,
this property returns an empty string ("").

Not sure if there are any alternatives to retrieve this value.

    Suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Partha

Installed windows 11 and got an very wierd application named -"ms-resource: displayname"

"Application Install install package failure!" while installing 13.9

Running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and MSI 6970 Lightning.

I was upgrading from 13.4 after I did a clean uninstall with AMD Catalyst Install Manager.

Doesn't say what installation failed in the install log. Everything in the log says Success but at the very bottom it says "Application Install: install package failure!" but doesn't say what failed to install.

I only install video drivers and no CCC.

The only thing I noticed is AMD Catalyst Install Manager is not listed in my programs list.
