Windows 10: Installer Error 2330, Cannot identify C\Users\User\Documents\Pro Tools\Sound Libraries...

I'm attempting to install Avid Link onto my computer Windows 10, but when I launch the installer to do so it always gives me the following error:Error 2330. Error getting file attributes:C:\Users\User\Documents\ProTools\Sound LibrariesGetLastError 44Does anyone know what the cause of this might be and how I can find a possible fix for the issue?It's worth noting, I have my Documents folder located on a different drive and use a symbolic link in place of the Users\Documents directory. The link type is Junction and has not caused any issues before, so I'm not sure its related, but this might b

Can't Remove C:\users\<my name>\Documents Folder From The Documents Library

Hello everyone.

Currently, the Documents Library on my Windows 10 machine includes the Documents folder that I created on the D drive as well as the Documents folder on the C drive. I want to remove C:\users\<my name>\Documents from the Documents Library so that the Documents
Library only includes the folder that I created on the D drive. The system let's me do that, but C:\users\<my name>\Documents always gets added back to the Documents library when I reboot the machine.

I was able to successfully remove the C Drive folders for Videos, Pictures and Music from their respective libraries. They do not get added back to the libraries when I reboot. Only C:\users\<my name>\Documents gets added back.

Can someone tell how to permanently remove C:\users\<my name>\Documents from the Documents library and keep it from getting added back?

In your report you left out some essential details, e.g.

• Does the folder c:\users\public\public documents exist?
• Is it a physical folder or a symbolic link?
• What is the error message generated by robocopy?

 

How to pin c-users-username to quick access not the desktop library of username?

EDIT: Pinning c-users-username-(folder) functions normally it is specifically c-users-username that is the problem

The problem occurred before the customization (which is simply use document template). It also fails to work on two other windows 10 laptops (all three devices are different manufactures and motherboards and parts). So it most certainly is not because I
changed the template. It also has occured for nearly a year now across every update, I even attempted on a clean install(using the media creation tool) without updating or installing anything and it also failed.

Just to make sure we are following the same steps.

I navigate to C:\users\ right click and pin to quick access

I click the link it creates

opens username(that library in desktop) and not C:\users\username
