Windows 10: Installing a totally fresh copy of Windows 10

I’ve seen several articles talking about to install Windows, but they didn’t quite have the same characteristics of what I have, so I just wanted to double-check before I mess something up.I’ve had this computer for several years, and Windows was originally installed on a 128gb ssd. Since updating to Windows 10, Ive purchased and installed a 256gb ssd. I wanted to install the OS onto this larger drive, and I did it in a very janky way. I copied and pasted everything from the original drive to the new drive. Everything worked great, and I had no problems.I’d like to remove the 128gb ssd and

Fresh USB Windows 10 Install - Failing

I am trying to install a fresh copy (reformatted the hard disk) of windows 10 using a USB

• Created an installation media on a USB flash drive (Win 10 pro) from this page https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
• Changed the boot order on the other PC so that it boots using USB
• Selected custom install
• Installing Windows goes through the following steps successfully: Copying Windows Files, Getting Files ready for installation, Installing features, Installing updates and before the last step (Finishing up), it restarts
• Then it goes back to the start of the installation steps

I am stuck and have read numerous posts but don't know what to do to install a fresh copy of Win 10.

 

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
