    I have been trying to install a few Apps from the Store. I installed an App, clicked on it in the menu, and for one second it flashes and the menu disappears. I have checked my account and that's good, checked settings and they look good, but the installed App won't access. Am I doing anything wrong? Thanks for any help. *Smile

    There could be a lot of factors why this issue is happening. We would like to know more about the issue, please answer the questions below:

    • What's the error message? Kindly send a screenshot.
    • Were there any recent changes made to your PC?

    JohnC: Thanks for the help, but the timezone and date are good so I reset the cache, and still have the problem.

    You might have already tried this: uninstall the app from Settings > System >Apps and Features and then reinstall from the store.

    JohnC: Thanks for responding. I uninstalled the apps I tried to install as you suggest, and tried to install one of them again. As before, it says Open where upon I click open, and the app flashes for one second and the menu disappears followed by looking at my desktop. This is going to be some stupid fix I can feel it, but I'm stumped right now. Do you or any one else have anything else I might try?
