Windows 10: Installing Apps to any drive I want to

Recently I had to re-install windows on my PC and when I went to start installing games from Xbox Game Pass Ultimate I can now only install to the drive that is specified and if I try to set to a different drive it tells me that i must first uninstall all apps that have been installed. I do not like this feature and I want it back to where I and I alone can dictate where I install apps to. How do I go about removing this feature so I can install wherever the Hell I want on my system.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

• Which apps are you referring to?

Follow the steps below and check if that helps.

Step 1: Install all app updates from Windows Store.
