Windows 10: Installing boot camp drivers messed up...

So the Boot Camp setup tool hung at first on “Apple USB Virtual Host Controller.” I tried to X out to cancel install and it popped up a dialog to cancel the install. I hit Yes. Nothing happened. So i went into task manager and ended the task. I went back into the apple folder and selected bootcamp itself instead of setup but it wouldnt let me because the other install wasn’t finished. So i went back into setup and selected the repair or reinstall option. Now it is just sitting there with no progress on “Enumerating pre-install packages.” Is there a way to just wipe out the partial install all together? Even if i try uninstall from bootcamp it says theres another installation happening it cannot interupt.

Bluetooth is not working with Boot Camp after upgrading to Windows 10

Hi,

To enable your Bluetooth, run the Boot Camp Assistant from the Utilities folder on your Mac and install the support software, which includes the latest drivers you need for Bluetooth.

  Check for software updates to make sure OS X, your Mac firmware, and Boot Camp Assistant are
  up to date.

  Run Boot Camp Assistant and install the support software, which includes the latest Boot Camp drivers you need for Bluetooth.

After reinstalling the drivers, all paired devices from Windows 8.1 should still be paired and usable.

 

To Boot Camp or not to Boot Camp?

Boot Camp still works on Tiger, too. My sister's Mac is still on Tiger, and it still boots to XP when she wants it to. You just can't download it anymore, so you have to already have it. I think it just doesn't update Boot Camp or the drivers anymore, but why fix it if it ain't broke? lol.

 

Installing Windows 10 on iMac using Boot Camp

Step 1: download the ISO file directly to your Mac from the Software Download page. See instructions:

Step 2: Make sure your Mac is running macOS 10.12.5 or later.

Step 3: Launch Boot Camp then select the ISO file, resize your partition, click Continue. macOS will download necessary Windows Support software. When complete, it will automatically reboot into Windows 10 setup.

Select the Boot Camp partition created earlier in the Custom Advanced window.
