Windows 10: Installing Digital Image standard 2006 on Windows 10?

Hello,


I recently purchased a new 64 bit Dell computer that has Windows 10 pre-installed on it. My previous computer as well had Windows 10 installed on it and I was able to run Microsoft Digital Image Standard 2006 without any issues. I have tried "Compatibility Mode" and have done everything I can possible to get this to install on my new computer but all it does is read "Data Error (Cyclic Redundancy Check)" and will go no further than that. I took the disc out of my External Hard drive and have cleaned it and done every so called 'Solution" I have come across on the internet to get this resolved but have had no luck! Does anyone know how to resolve this issue so that I can successfully install the software on to my computer? Thank you.

Digital Image 2006 and Windows 10

When I first upgraded to Windows 10 I installed Digital Image 2006 OK and it ran OK. In fact it is still running OK on the PC. However, I have had to reset Windows 10 on another PC and now Digital Image will not install. I know Digital Image requires Internet
Explorer 6 or later. I assumed it saw IE 11 and was happy with that. Microsoft has changed something (Installed Edge???) and Digital Image now tries to load IE 6 which doesn't install on 64 bit machines. Why is it that Digital Image can no longer see the later
version of IE?

Microsoft Digital Image 2006 Replacement

I have been using Digital Image 2006 on an old laptop for years and really liked the program. I recently purchased a new HP laptop running Windows 10. It is still very new to me and really have not completely gotten used to going from Windows 7 to Windows
10. Is there a new program that will be the same or better than Digital Image 2006. I used that program to a lot to re-size, correct problems with photos, etc.

If possible, I would like a new program that would be able to do what I was doing with 2006, but would also like to organize photo's and make DVD's of for my family.

Hi Craig,

Your best option is to completely uninstall Digital Image 2006, restart your system and then reinstall Digital Image 2006.

This should fix any issues that have arisen with the system reset . . .
