Windows 10: Installing games through the xbox app crashing Windows

I'm trying to install a game using the Xbox app via the Xbox Game Pass subscription. A few weeks ago, my games suddenly stopped downloading and always gave an error, got the same result in the Microsoft Store app. After Googling around a bit, I found out two of the services, Windows Update and Storage Service, need to be enabled and running in order to install apps using the Xbox app and the Microsoft Store. Every time I restart my PC, I have to go and re-enable and start the two services mentioned above, after which installation of games and apps is a breeze. But recently, every time I turn o

I appreciate your reply. It seems that the game progress was saved to your Xbox account associated on your computer that's why you can't play the game from the beginning. I recommend that you remove the account on your computer by performing the following
steps:

1. Press the Windows icon, then select the gear icon to access Settings.
2. Select Accounts.
3. Under Email & app accounts, click the Microsoft account, then click Remove.

I also suggest that you reset the Xbox app on your computer so that we could ensure that no account is linked to it. To get started, kindly follow these steps:

1. Press the Windows key, then select the gear icon to access Settings.
2. Go to Apps.
3. Under Apps & features, locate the Xbox app.
4. Click the Xbox app, then select Advanced options.

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Xbox app on your computer and check.
Follow the steps provided below.

  Type Windows Powershell in search box.
  
• 
  Right click on Windows Powershell and select
  Run as administrator.
  
• 
  Copy and paste the following command.
  
  • get-appxpackage *Microsoft.XboxApp* | remove-appxpackage
• 
  Press Enter key.
  

After uninstalling the Xbox app, I suggest you to download and install the app again and check.
