Windows 10: installing latest itunes.

Hello, I have tried to update itunes on several occasions but to no avail, I decided to uninstall it and all related files in the correct order as stated on the apple site, but once I installed the latest itunes app from the microsoft store I received a banner on screen telling me to uninstall the old version of itunes that no longer exists before the latest one will work, problem being there is no old version to uninstall!!!

iTunes won't connect to my iTunes Media directory

1. Uninstall iTunes completely. (I suggest using Geek Uninstaller. In my experience this does a good job of clearing remnants.)
2. Download and install latest iTunes from Apple, not Windows Store (Never use the Windows Store for iTunes.)
3. Check whether the Apple version allows you to point to your old media store.

It seems that there's a problem with that particular link. Anyhow, here are some steps that you can try and see if it resolves the issue:

• Disable your third-party antivirus.
• Install iTunes as administrator.
• Update your Windows.
• Restart your PC.
• Visit Apple forums to check for suggestions.

Cant install latest itune, any help???

I would suggest you to uninstall any older version of iTunes present on the computer and then download and install the latest version of iTunes then check if the issue persists.
