Windows 10: Installing latest version of direct x

Hi I am having trouble installing the latest version of DirectX for a new game I want to play and need some assistance. On this page : https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-install-the-latest-version-of-directx-d1f5ffa5-dae2-246c-91b1-ee1e973ed8c2 It has options for all the different versions of windows but does not actually have any installation button anywhere that I can find.

Direct X NOT Updating to latest version!

My Current Direct X version is 9eX.

I cannot run the facebook app as it says the following (Screenshot)

The problem is I tried updating my Direct X using the following link- https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=8109

However, after the installation complete when I run "DxDiag" the version still says 9eX.

Also, I have Windows 10-64 bit, so according to this thread- https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/179113

My Direct X version should be 11.3, 11.4 or 12.0...then, why is it stuck at 9eX?

Is there a way I can uninstall version 9eX and then, install the latest Direct X???

How do I update to the latest version, plz help!!!!

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check:

• 
  Press Windows + R keys together.
  
• 
  Type dxdiag in the run prompt and hit enter.
  
• 
  Now check for the version of Direct x.

DIRECT X VERSION

SIR I HAVE INSTALLED WINDOWS 10 BUT THERES NO UPGRADE IN DIRECT X VERSION I AM STILL RUNNING DIRECT X 9 NOT EVEN DIRECT X 11 WHAT SHOULD I DO TO UPDATE MY VERSION TO DIRECT X 11 OR 12 PLEASE HELP ME
