Windows 10: Installing m.2 ssd which contains a window os into a pc which also contains a window os

My laptop asus nitro 5 recently broke so i build a pc. I have installed windows 10 on my pc via sata ssd, and im thinking of sticking my m.2 ssd from my laptop into my pc because i still want the data inside it. Is it okay to turn on my pc if both ssd has a window os or will it conflict ?

Thank you for the help, its as youve said, nothing happened and i can transfer the data safely.

I received a lot of recommendations to use the m2 ssd (asus nitro 5) instead of sata ssd (new pc) for my windows. Could i simply cut all files from sata and paste it into the m2 (after formatting it) or is there a proper way to do it ?

Yes, it's okay to turn on your PC if both SSD has a Window OS.

When the computer boots the BIOS/EFI settings are already configured to go to a particular drive and find the boot loader. The boot loader has a record of which operating systems are stored on the computer, the bootloader can simply boot the preconfigured default, or it can present a menu to the user asking which one.

So if you add an SSD from your broke Asus Nitro 5 with Windows on it, the computer will do nothing different the next time it boots because the SSD from your broke Asus Nitro 5 isn't configured to run the bootloader from it.
