    Installing Microsoft Home 2024 if Microsoft 365 trial offer exists but not activated on new...


    A new laptop has included the option to activate a free trial of Microsoft 365. I did not accept/activate the trial for Microsoft 365. I prefer to make a one time purchase of Microsoft Home 2024 and download it from the Microsoft website. Since I did not activate the 365 trial, can I simply download the Microsoft Home 2024 or is there anything else I need to do. My Microsoft account currently shows I have no active subscriptions.

    Did the free trial come pre-installed on your PC?

    At the top right of any Office Application, choose to sign into your Microsoft Office Account, that should lead you through the steps to activate the Office 365 trial, and if you do not have an Office.com account, you can create one from there . . .
