Installing MS Visual C++ : The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.Click ok to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'vc_runtimeMinimum_x86.msi' in the box below- Have tried finding it in the installation folder but doesn't seem to be there.Also tried changing the cache folder to a different folder/disk. And tried download first then install.Also tried uninstalling all past Visual C++ distributions.It gets a few percent in before this error comes up. Part of larger can't install dlib due to failing to build

I have been trying to install visual c++ latest version for x64 but as I go through the installation process, there comes a dialog box which say " The feature you're trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" and ask to try again by clicking
on Okay button but same dialog box appears.

I googled for the help but none of them worked like using registry directory or services.My windows installer is running.when I cancel the installation then an error code appears i.e. 0x8007...(something I don't remember the whole code).

 

Downloaded MS Visual C++, need help/pointers

I think I'll try out a much simpler compiler, Visual Studio C++ 2008 is a little overwhelming for me atm. I'll learn the C++ language first, then see how I can make use of MS Studio.
Anyone got any suggestions?
