    Hi, im upgrading my moms old pc to a new windows 10 one, the problem is how do i get her old hard drive files onto the new pc. Pc is running off of a new ssd with fresh windows 10 pro installed. When i plug in her old hard drive which still works fine but has windows vista installed on it. All her files show up in the file explorer on the hdd. But i dont have access to them. So how can i get her files and old pictures onto the new pc while using the original hdd? thanks

    Replacing old hard drive, need way to copy Windows installation across

    Hey Guys,
    What would be the best way of copying/imaging the entire contents of an old system drive over to a replacement hard disk for the same machine? I need to copy the Windows installations and all other data to the new drive, and then format the old drive to use as a backup.
