Windows 10: Installing Photoshop CS2 on Win 10

My old Win 7 64 computer suddenly died and I now have a Win 10 computer and I'm trying to install my old Photoshop program CS2 from the disk but get this notice: failed to start because it's side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application log or use the command-in line sxstrace.exe tool. I have no idea what that means. Will I be able to install Photoshop?Thank you.

Reinstall of Photoshop CS2 on Windows 10

I was running photoshop cs 2 on windows 10, had my operating system reinstalled, wiped out all my programs. When i try to reintall, I get a msg stating that it could not find a previous version of PS. I have the previous version but it won't install.
Any suggestions? I went through this process several years ago with Adobe support when I upgraded to windowsxp and got it to work fine and Photoshop cs2 was working fine on windows 10 before I had it reinstalled. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

This issue might occurs, if some of the Photoshop CS2 creating conflict with the Windows System files.

I suggest you to try uninstall and reinstalling the Photoshop CS2 application and check if it helps.

  Select Programs and features.
  
• 
  Select Photoshop CS2 and click on
