Windows 10: Installing update 1709 on a Hp Probook 470 G3

Hello,

I have a HP Probook 470 G3 (UK english). I cannot install this "damned" upgrade . Have you an idea why ? MS worked on it and the upgrade stay stucked at 28 % via the media creation tool !

Any help is welcome , HP does not answer ?

Somebody on this forum already did this ugrade on such a machine ?

If you have the Ralink RT3090 wireless card, regardless of computer maker, I would try this driver from HP.

HOW TO USE:

1. Download the file by clicking the Download or Obtain Software button and

saving the file to a folder on your hard drive (make a note of the folder where

4. Restart the notebook.

Windows 10 error message: "System_service_exception (netio.sys)"

No i didn't made any specific changes...

My laptop is: " HP - Probook 470 " Windows 10.

 

Hi, what is your current Windows build? Assuming you are currently using Win 10 (which your details indicate):
Windows key + R, winver

Please also post a screenshot of your Update History.

Have you tried:
- disabling or uninstalling any security software
- removing any unnecessary peripherals?

Please post a screenshot of your disks and partitions using Minitool Partition Wizard (free) (not Disk Management), making sure text in all columns is visible.

1. First check your disk:
Download and run Hard Disk Sentinel (trial) and make sure all disks are reported as good.If not, do not continue, and post a screenshot of its GUI.

2. Now check your file system:From an admin command or powershell prompt
[Windows key + X, click command prompt (admin)]
chkdsk C: /F
Your PC will need to restart.
Post back the result, which you can get after a restart as follows:

Make sure the result is clear or fixed- else do not proceed.

3. Now check your system files:From an admin command or powershell prompt
sfc /scannow
and post the summary result.
