    then get the gmail redesigned pack... Gmail Redesigned

    Set Firefox/gmail as my default mail client


    Clicking on an mailto link in Excel or Word no longer brings me to Firefox and gmail. I have Windows 10. My default browser is set to Firefox. Website hyperlinks in Excel or Word work fine, taking me to Firefox. Within Firefox the mailto is set to gmail and this works if I am in Firefox.
    Under Windows/Control panel/Default apps/email Firefox is not listed as an option.
    Any ideas?

    Try using Internet explorer and let us know what the status is. For, now I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Firefox.


    • Press Windows + X and click on
      Control Panel.
    • Now click on Programs and features and right click on the Firefox and uninstall it.
    If the issue still persist, it would be best if you contact Firefox support team for further assistance. Since Firefox is not a Microsoft product.
