    Don't sweat it. It is the OEM's who put the keys in the BIOS. Microsoft just also happens to be an OEM in this case. *Wink Your original statement was accurate. I think NavyLCDR was just having a little fun. See the :-D at the bottom of his post.

  3. I personally don't see keys ever going away completely. How would an OEM, or anybody for that matter, activate Windows 10 for the first time on new hardware that doesn't already have a Digital License? How do you prove you bought Windows 10 and have a right to install it on a device? You need some kind of digital receipt.
