Windows 10: Installing windows 10 1909 32bit on Lenovo 3000 N100 Very old laptop

So, I had this very old laptop lying around but the spec were good enough for 32bit windows 10 so I downloaded the latest windows iso form Microsoft's websiteversion 1909. Formatted my pd using rufus3.9 with default selections. But when I'm booting from the pd it says :

EFI PART

please remove this media and press any key to reboot

...

it's not an error with my pd because the same thing is happening when I use other pd.


The laptop has no os installed so I was unable to turn off safe mode or access uefi settings though I don't know if it would help.

I have been working on this problem with my laptop also. I too have a Lenovo 3000 N100 laptop. If you go into your bios and disable the modem it should correct the problem. Hopefully some time in the future Microsoft will fess up to the bug and correct
it. This will get you back working in the meantime.

After days of trying everything else found this advice. regedit removal of PCMCIA worked in Lenovo 3000 N100! In fact putting card in did not work.
