    I just received my new laptop in the mail (a pretty meh Dell Inspiron 5401 i5/8gb/mx330). Anyways, the laptop is supposed to have Linux installed on it (the model wasn't available with Windows 10 atm) . According to a relative of mine it shouldn't require too much hassle to install win 10 on it. I will probably ask him to help me with that as I am not overly familiar with proceedings of this kind, but before I do that, I'd like to try to at least understand something of it myself. So I've found enough yt tutorials on how to install win10 on a computer that's already running Linux. The problem is, I can't seem to figure out how to even get through the booting process to actually be able to do something on the computer- after choosing Ubuntu on the GRUB or whatever it's called I just get some error message saying Couldn't get size: 0x8000000000000e and so on. The question is, do I have to somehow repair this issue and get Linux running to be able to install Win10 or is there a way to just totally erase the excisting OS and start from there? Sorry if I sound like a total idiot, haven't put too much time into understanding the issue at hand yet, just looking for some info before I start fucking this up tomorrow morning.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Help removing Linux Mint and installing Windows 10

    Just do a clean install of Windows 10. In one of the early steps you'll be given an opportunity to format the drive that has Linux.

    Before you begin, I suggest checking to see if your hardware is supported on Windows 10.
