Windows 10: Installing Windows 10

I have trying this for 3 weeks now, too many problems! I have installed Windows 10 and am trying to take my files from my Windows 7 maching and put them in my new Windows 10 machine. I was copying my files to a Samsung T5 SSD External hard drive that took 11 hours.. Now when I go to copy the files into my new machine I noticed a file called VC_RED.CAB. When I went to copy my files into the machine I never had a file called VC_Red.CAB and now it is telling me I need administrator privileges and I am the administrator. I have been at this for 3 weeks and am stuck trying to install a new computer. The Air Force told me to wait until they get there new IBM up and running. I am a retired Naval officer who was their programmer for 31 years. and they have asked for my assistance and I am stuck.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
